More security cameras being added at Turkey Mountain Park
By Steve Berg – KRMG News11/24/2025 1:57pm TULSA, Okla. – Turkey Mountain is adding even more security cameras this week in the wake of two recent incidents.The park already put in a dozen, high-tech cameras in the parking lot and on the trails.This week, they’re adding around three-dozens more.Moreover, these new cameras transmit live video directly to the Tulsa Police Department’s Real Time Information Center.Private donations paid for the $80,000 project, which will take about 3 weeks to install.As you might recall, Tulsa Police say a woman was stabbed in the park in July and another woman was sexually assaulted in August.River Parks officials say with more funding, the system would support the addition of more cameras on other recreation trails in the River Parks system.
