TULSA, Okla. — A Tulsa Police officer was injured after being struck by a vehicle on Thursday night.
According to police, officers had a vehicle stopped near the 3900 block of West Edison Drive around 11 p.m. While standing at the window of another patrol car, a man drived by clipping the officer’s arm with their side mirror.
Officers tracked down the driver who later went to the hospital after claiming to have a medical issue. The driver who struck the officer was given citations for no license, driving left of center, and failing to yield for an emergency vehicle.
Officials say the officer sustained minor injuries and returned to duty.
