Nowata football coach arrested in sex sting

Investigators say Head Coach, and Athletic Director, Chance Juby was one of seven people arrested this week in an undercover sting in Catoosa. Several agencies worked together to set up the investigation at a hotel across from a school in Catoosa on Thursday. A representative for the City of Catoosa says the Catoosa Police Department and the Oologah Police Department took part in the prostitution sting. None of the suspects live in Catoosa. All seven were charged with solicitation of prostitution within 1000 feet of a church or school. Other charges included possession of a firearm while committing a felony, trafficking controlled substance, possession of controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and solicitation of a minor. Nowata Public Schools released the following statement:“Nowata Public Schools is aware of a situation involving the arrest of one of its employees as a result of an ongoing law enforcement operation. The safety of students is the school district’s top priority, so the employee has been placed on administrative leave while the investigation continues. The school district will continue to cooperate with law enforcement officials to ensure proper justice is carried out but is unable to comment further as this is a developing personnel matter.”
