A citizen-led town hall meeting is scheduled to be held tonight in Coweta to address the controversial proposed data center known as Project Anthem.
It’s set for 7:00 p.m. to 9 p.m. tonight at Our Finest Hour Church at 11045 S. Highway 51.
Tonight’s meeting happens ahead of next week’s Coweta Chamber of Commerce meeting, which is only open to Chamber members, a fact that some in various comments sections have expressed displeasure with.
The company behind the Project Atlas data center, Beale Infrastructure, is reportedly confirmed to be at next week’s Chamber meeting.
It’s not clear if they’ll be at tonight’s citizen-led meeting.
Some Coweta residents have voiced the same concerns that have become common about other data center projects around the country, such as noise and increased utility bills.
