Tulsa Police Chief Dennis Larsen says 2025 was a good year for his department and, as a result, for Tulsa too.
In a Facebook post, he says crime was down this year, compared to last year, in every category.
He says there’s been a big improvement in the category of stolen guns, with a sharp drop in the number of those cases.
He says TPD has made a major effort to educate gun owners on how to safeguard their firearms.
He’s also proud that Tulsa Police took part in more than 200 community events in 2025, everything from neighborhood meeting to parades, he says.
