Pryor Creek Police arrest two in connection to reported assault Wednesday

PRYOR CREEK, Okla. — Pryor Creek Police have arrested two in connection to a reported assault Wednesday. 

According to police, officers were dispatched to the North Sawyer Street area where they found a female victim who had visible injuries to her eye. 

During the investigation, Dale Deion Golden, 51 of Pryor, was identified as the suspect in the assault. Officers learned he made statements indicating he we going to retrieve a firearm.

Further investigation showed that Golden went to a residence on Orphan Street associated with Cody Fidel Stewart, 37 of Pryor. During a verbal fight associated with the first incident, it was determined that Golden brandished the firearm.

Both Golden and Stewart were taken into custody without incident.

A search warrant was obtained for the residence on Orphan Street and officers found a firearm, methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and marijuana.

Golden was booked into the Mayes County Jail for threatening Acts of Violence and assault and battery.

Stewart was also booked into the Mayes County Jail for threatening acts of violence, felon in possession of a firearm, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana.
