Creek County Sheriff’s Office investigating after man found with gunshot wound

TULSA, Okla. — Allen Bowden Public Schools confirmed that the school was on lockdown this morning after a reported incident off school grounds Monday morning.

According to the Creek County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy was working the school zone around 8 a.m. when a man in a vehicle pulled up and said he had been shot. 

The deputy saw a gunshot wound on the driver’s shoulder. He was transported by EMS to a Tulsa hospital and is said to be stable. 

The school said it was in lockdown, but was later lifted.

The sheriff’s office says they are currently investigating.
