Cherokee National Marshal Service searching for 2 missing teen brothers

DELAWARE COUNTY, Okla. — The Cherokee Nation Marshal Service is searching for two teenage brothers who were last seen on Jan. 2.

Authorities are currently searching for 14-year-old Samuel Newson and 16-year-old Christopher Newson Jr.

The brothers were last see in Jay, Oklahoma on Jan 2. Authorities said it’s possible they may be in the Loma Linda area of Joplin, Missouri.

Samuel Newson is described as a Cherokee male who is 6’0″ and weighs around 160 pounds. He has brown curly hair and brown eyes.

Christopher Newson is described as a Cherokee male who is 5’2″ and weighs about 105 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
