WAGONER COUNTY, Okla. — The Wagoner County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man in an embezzlement investigation saying the fraudulent activity spanned decades.
The sheriff’s office said the investigation began after Electrolux’s head of security reported that Patrick Brown had been fraudulently been ordering appliance warranty parts without valid work orders while employed as a Regional Service Manager. The sheriff’s office says Brown used Electrolux’s internal ordering systems to obtain parts at no cost to himself under the guise of warranty service, despite the part not needing repairs.
Wagoner County Investigators say the fraud occured over multiple years. Electrolux said according to a financial loss report, they recorded losses over $226,000 from 2103 to 2025 which included the cost of appliance parts and associated shipping charges. Records show that parts were shipped to multiple addresses in Broken Arrow to locations associated with Brown.
Deputies and investigators conducted several interviews with several people associated with Electrolux. Witnesses say Brown personally collected appliances and parts that were set to be disposed.
Sheriff’s office investigators met with Brown in September 2025 who told them about his previous employment with Electrolux but declined to provide a formal statement without legal counsel.
On November 25, a probable cause affidavit was completed and submitted to the Wagoner County District Attorney’s Office. A warrant for Brown’s arrest was issued for obtaining cash or merchandise by bogus check, false pretenses.
Deputies located Brown at his home in Broken Arrow on December 18 and took him into custody without incident. He was booked into the Wagoner County Detention Center and was later released after posting bond.
