MUSCOGEE NATION, Okla. — The Muscogee Nation is launching a new gaming app they say is the first of its kind.

The Muscogee Nation Gaming Enterprise is a Class 2 mobile game that allows for players to gamble through bingo-style games.

They say what makes it different is that you can play this game from anywhere within the Muscogee Reservation, not just the casino.

The app also includes safety features like age verification through government-issued ID as well as facial image scanning.

“We had a growing audience that wants mobile entertainment, so we’ve been working on doing exactly that. said Pat Crofts, CEO of Muscogee Nation Gaming Enterprises.

Crofts said there have been tribes that can do mobile gaming while in the casino, but the new app will be allow it to be taken off site. He says it works that the app has been geofenced. As long as location services stay on and they remain inside the reservation boundaries, the app will continue to work.

“The response has been real good. We’ve been doing a test case and we started with some of our existing customers and all of them really really liked it. Right now we have over, without fully marketing it, we have 1300 people enrolled and about 850 people that are actively using the application right now.” said Croft. “The acceptance has been good.”

Croft says the proceeds will benefit people within the reservation.

“All of the profits from this will go down to the Muscogee Nation to support all of their programs down there, including social programs, housing, education and everything like that.” he said.

Another feature of the app include self-banning for those who struggle with gambling addiction.
