19-year-old man dead after Creek County crash

CREEK COUNTY, Okla. — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said a 19-year-old man is dead after a crash in Creek County on Thursday.

Dalton Roberts from Mannford was driving southbound on Highway 48, just south of South 353 Road, around 8:53 p.m. when his vehicle departed the road to the right.

Roberts overcorrected back onto the road and hit the guardrail, causing the vehicle to roll onto its side.

OHP said Roberts was pronounced dead by medical personnel.

There were no passengers in the vehicle. Roberts was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
