The snow totals weren’t as severe as predicted overnight, but we’re seeing another round.
The National Weather Service says heavy snow and sleet is expected from Saturday afternoon through Sunday afternoon.
We’ll see mainly snow with additional accumulations between 6 and 10 inches.
The winter storm warning is still in effect until 3pm on Sunday.
Emergency crews are asking everyone to stay off the roads.
City of Tulsa street crews have been plowing and applying salt to Tulsa’s main roads all night and will continue throughout the duration of the upcoming snow event.
Dangerously cold wind chills are expected through Monday.
This can cause frostbite and burst pipes if precautionary actions are not taken.
Please avoid outdoor activities, wrap exposed pipes, drip faucets, and make sure outdoor animals have shelter, food and water.
