OWASSO, Okla. — The City of Owasso is seeing improvements of its streets, but ice is still an issue for some roads.

The Owasso Police Department says some of the snowpacks on roadways is a sheet of ice. They say if you have to get out for essential travel to leave plenty of space between yourself and other vehicles.

While main thoroughfares are being worked on, residential roads are still snow covered and low vehicles are still having problems with snow drifts.

Owasso remains under an extreme cold warning until 12 p.m. today. Owasso Police says they will be out assisting stranded motorists.
