Arrest made in 2018 Glenpool child abuse and neglect case

GLENPOOL, Okla. — One man has been arrested in connection with a child abuse and neglect investigation from April 2018. 

On Tuesday, the Glenpool Police Department arrested Jeremy VanWoudenberg regarding an April 2018 child abuse and neglect case. 

According to officers, on April 17, 2018, a Glenpool School Resource officer responded to a report of a student being afraid to go home at Glenpool Elementary School. 

The student has visible injuries, according to officers. A DHS referral was made, and following a series of interviews and an investigation, a warrant was issued for VanWoudenberg on September 19th, 2018.

On Tuesday, members of the U.S. Marshals Service Northern Oklahoma Violent Crimes Task Force found VanWoudenberg in Tulsa.

He was taken into custody on the outstanding Glenpool warrant.
