FOX23 and KRMG Chief Meteorologist James Aydelott says a tornado touched down near McClain High School around 6:30 Friday night.
Another tornado was also confirmed near Collinsville and one near Beggs, according to Aydelott.
People attending the Big 12 Wrestling Tournament at the BOK Center took shelter for a while.
The National Weather Service in Tulsa issued a tornado warning for parts of Tulsa and Creek counties.
Meteorologists at the NWS say a tornado was spotted on the ground around Kellyville around 5:45pm Friday.
There is a marginal to slight risk for excessive rainfall and flash flooding Friday and Friday night across much of eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. Overall, one half to an inch and a half of rain is expected, with local amounts in the two to three inch range possible. The severe weather threat will linger into Saturday morning until a cold front fully clears the region.
Another round of severe storms may occur on Tuesday, including a threat for large hail, damaging winds and some tornado potential. Continue to monitor future forecasts and statements for details.
