TULSA, Okla. — The shopping center near 81st Street and Lewis is undergoing a transformation and name change.
The Plaza Shopping Center is being remodeled with a new facade that will feature wood-look panels and tile accents.
The shopping center will also get a new name: The Shops at Riverbend.
The upgrades will include all existing windows being replaced with a modern stormfront system.
Also, every buidling in the center, icluding McAlister’s and Thai Village, are being revitalized as part of the project.
They’re also in the process of replacing most of the sidewalks and new paving is scheduled for spring and summer.
