GLENPOOL, Okla. — Two people have been arrested on drug-related charges following a traffic stop Monday morning in Glenpool.
According to police, a traffic stop was conducted by officers near 13800 South Birch Street. During the stop, officers found that the driver of the car was driving without a valid driver’s license.
Upon further investigation, police also found controlled substances and drug paraphernalia inside the car and in the driver’s, identified as Skyler Loftin, possession.
Loftin’s passenger, Dane Baldwin, was also found to have controlled substances and drug paraphernalia. Baldwin tried to throw away the evidence during the traffic stop, police said.
Both were arrested on several charges and taken into custody.
Loftin was arrested on charges of driving without a valid driver’s license, possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), and possession of drug paraphernalia. Baldwin was arrested on charges of possession of a CDS, possession of drug paraphernalia, and destruction of evidence.
Glenpool Police said these are arrests, not convictions.
