A man was stabbed by an unknown assailant downtown early Monday morning after being kicked out of a bar for starting fights

TULSA, Okla. – Tulsa Police are working a stabbing incident that happened just after midnight Monday morning in downtown Tulsa after a man ran to a parked police car for help.

At around 12:20 a.m., a man ran across Elgin Street near 3rd Street and collapsed on a patrol car. The man had been stabbed in the chest.

Police say, the victim of the stabbing was kicked out of a bar for starting fights and was stabbed by an unknown assailant. The victim was taken to the hospital, and there is no suspect information at this time.

Tulsa Police Captain Richard Meulenberg said they are still investigating the incident.
