City of Tulsa collecting food for families in need

TULSA, Okla. – The City of Tulsa is collecting non-perishable food items to support local families in need.
You can drop of donations at any Tulsa Fire Station, Tulsa Parks Community Centers or at the Tulsa Area United Way offices (1430 South Boulder Avenue).The City shared a list of the most needed items:
- Canned tuna, chicken or beans
- Soup or chili
- Peanut butter
- Oatmeal or cereal
- Rice or pasta
- Cooking oil
- Canned fruits and vegetables
- Granola bars
- Shelf-stable milk or milk alternatives
- Infant formula and baby food
Items can also be order directly from the TAUW wish list by clicking here. The City said every can, box and bag makes a difference.
