TAHLEQUAH, Okla. — On Monday, Tahlequah firefighters responded to a call for a structure fire near Stick Ross Mountain Road and West 780 Road.

Firefighters responded just before 9 p.m. and found a building fully engulfed in flames after arriving on scene.

Due to strong winds, the fire spread to surrounding trees and grass. Fire crews were able to stop the fire from spreading onto other properties and were able to fully extinguish the fire within two hours.

The Tahlequah Fire Department said there were no injuries. Previously in September, firefighters were dispatched to the same address for a fire.

At that time, the building was reported to have no electricity or working utilities.
