TULSA, Okla. – Tulsa Police say they have made a second arrest in Tuesday’s Katy Trail shooting. Witnesses and the victims told detectives that a man and a woman walked up to their tent near Katy Trail, stole a woman’s purse, and then fired multiple shots. The suspects ran from the scene, but police caught a 17-year-old male suspect shortly after the shooting. Officers located the second suspect, 27-year-old MyQuiliah Favors on Thursday, arrested her and booked her into jail for Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon and two counts of Shooting With Intent to Kill.

TULSA, Okla. – The Tulsa Police Department said two people were injured during a shooting Tuesday night near the Katy Jogging Trail in northwest Tulsa.  Police said around 10:50 p.m., officers responded to a shooting near the 1300 block of West Katy Jogging Trail. A third person told police that their purse was taken during the incident. The purse had a driver’s license inside.  When officers arrived on scene, they found a man with multiple gunshot wounds to the face, arm and ankle. A second victim was found with a gunshot wound to the thigh. Police said they recovered used .22 caliber shell casings and an airsoft P92-style rifle.  According to witnesses, two suspects — one male and one female — approached a tent at a nearby homeless encampment and shot multiple rounds inside. The two left the area on bikes and headed toward the Tulsa Day Center.  Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office deputies later found and detained a 17-year-old who matched the description of one of the suspects. Deputies found him in possession of a loaded .22 caliber gun and used shell casings.  One of the witnesses identified him as one of the suspects.  Tulsa Police arrested the man and took him to the Community Intervention Center for two counts of shooting with intent to kill, one count of robbery with a firearm, and one count of possession of a firearm AFCF.  Police are still looking for the second, female suspect. Officers found a man with multiple gunshot wounds to the face, arm and ankle. A second victim was found with a gunshot wound to the thigh.

Police said both victims were taken to the hospital.

Witnesses told police the victims are homeless and live together in the area.
