Local dog rescue shelter needs donations after parvo outbreak

By Steve BergNov 26, 2025  1:38 PM A Tulsa-based animal rescue shelter is asking for help, after a parvo outbreak.Puppy Haven Rescue says because of the outbreak, they had to do a deep clean of their boarding facility, including the parking lot, and throw away nearly everything inside the building. That means they now have a major need for large blankets, large food bowls, dog toys, dog food, and more. They’ve posted a link to their Amazon wish list on their Facebook page where you can purchase products for the shelter, as well as a link where you donate cash. You can also drop off donations at their adoption event this Saturday at Courts and Commons near 121st and Memorial in Bixby from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
