Two children arrested for theft at airsoft gun store

By April HillDec 3, 2025  1:28 PM Tulsa police say two 12-year-olds threatened store employees with pepper spray last Wednesday near 41st and Sheridan while stealing an airsoft gun. Surveillance video from the store showed one of the juveniles in a red hoodie holding an airsoft gun and pointing it at the ceiling, then running out of the store with the stolen gun.Several employees chased the juveniles and caught up with them on 41st. Police say the juvenile with the stolen gun pulled out pepper spray and pointed it at the employees when one of the employees managed to get the gun back from the juvenile. Both suspects then took off running.Officers quickly responded and took both juveniles into custody near the Best Buy. Both were arrested for Larceny of Merchandise from a Retailer and taken to the Community Intervention Center.
