OU cancels classes, adjusts final exam schedule due to home playoff game

The University of Oklahoma has cancelled classes on Dec. 19 and adjusted its final exam schedule after the Sooners earned a first-round home College Football Playoff game.

OU said the changes were in preparation for the game against the Alabama Crimson Tide at 7 p.m. on Dec. 19, and to accommodate traffic, parking and safety measures.

The Norman campus has suspended classes and operations for both students and employees on game day.

Those at all OU Health Campus, including remote locations, are to follow their normal work and class schedules until 2 p.m. The university said beginning at 2 p.m., the Health Campus will end classes and campus operations.

Students on rotation or in clinicals should contact their faculty or preceptors for scheduling information.

OU-Tulsa students, faculty and staff will follow the guidance for their respective programs.
