Investigators were called to a helicopter crash in rural Mayes County southeast of Pryor shortly after 9:00 Friday morning.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the investigation into the cause of the crash is still underway, but they can confirm that the man piloting the helicopter is deceased.
The Grand River Dam Authority is also on the scene to help investigate.
The pilot was later identified as Emanuele Tsikoudakis.
