POLICE: Man turns himself in after skipping town ahead of child pornography trial

Update: Tulsa police said Thomas Albertson turned himself in on Tuesday.


Original Story: A Tulsa man is wanted after police said he didn’t show up for court in a child pornography case.

TPD said Thomas Albertson was arrested in November 2023 when investigators got a tip about child sex abuse materials being exchanged and stored.

Police said Albertson was scheduled to appear in court for a jury trial Monday, but they said he didn’t show up. Police said he has a no-bond, full extradition felony arrest warrant for child pornography charges as well as having a gun after previously being convicted of a felony.

Albertson was last seen driving the blue Chevy truck seen below.
