Broken Arrow City Council to hold special meeting to consider rezoning for proposed Islamic Center

The City of Broken Arrow said the city council would hold a special meeting to consider the rezoning and conditional use permit applications submitted for a proposed Islamic Center in south Broken Arrow.

The special meeting will be held on January 12th and the city said due to the high level of interest, this topic will be the only item on the agenda. The meeting will also be moved to NSU-BA’s Administrative Services Building to allow for more people to attend.

Members of the public who want to speak in the meeting are encouraged to arrive early and fill out the necessary form by 5:50 p.m. The meeting will start at 6 p.m.
