Oklahoma State University has confirmed that one of its graduates was in the KC-135 refueling aircraft that went down in the Middle East, killing all six on board.
U.S. Air Force Maj. John “Alex” Klinner was on board when the aircraft went down in Iraq last week.
OSU released a statement about Klinner’s death: It reads: “The Cowboy family is grateful for his service to our country, and we are keeping his wife, Libby, and young children in our thoughts and prayers.”
Klinner was a graduate of the MBA program in OSU’s Spears School of Business in 2025. He was also an Auburn graduate, earning a degree in mechanical engineering in 2016.
