Kenetic Fiber Internet company is offering a reward after they’ve been hit by copper thieves at least 25 times over the last three months.
A company spokesperson says the thefts happened in Tulsa and Broken Arrow and they need help from the public.
Kinetic is offering a $10,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction of individuals associated with these crimes.
The spokesperson says thieves have cut and stolen thousands of feet of copper cable lines.
This results in dangerous outages for customers and threatens essential services, including emergency responders like fire, police and 911, and healthcare facilities.
Kinetic is implementing enhanced security measures like night vision cameras and GPS trackers.
