BROKEN ARROW, Okla. — The Broken Arrow Police Department is searching for a suspect after a reported attempted break-in of a vehicle led to a shooting Friday morning.
According to authorities, officers responded to a reported shooting following an attempted vehicle break-in near East 121st Street South and County Line Road before 8 a.m.
The suspect reportedly shot the victim who confronted him during the attempted vehicle break-in and left the area.
The suspect was last seen leaving in a silver sedan and was wearing blue jeans and a gray hoodie.
BAPD said they are actively searching for the suspect and increasing patrols as needed. The investigation is currently ongoing.
If you see anyone matching the description of the suspect or have information that could assist investigators, you’re asked to call BAPD immediately.
Police are also asking the public to remain vigilant by locking their car doors and not to approach the suspect if they are seen.
