TULSA, Okla. — Oklahoma Gas and Electric (OG&E) was named a 2025 Oklahoma Top Workplace through an annual employee survey program.

The distinction is based entirely on confidential employee feedback and reflects the company’s workplace culture leadership and organizational health, OG&E said.

“This recognition means a great deal because it comes directly from our employees,” said Sean Trauschke, OG&E Chairman, President and CEO. “At OG&E, our employees are at the heart of everything we do. Their dedication to serving our customers and communities is unmatched, and we are committed to providing a workplace where they feel valued, supported and empowered to grow.”

OG&E said its culture is grounded in a clear purpose and shared values, with a strong focus on safety, development and collaboration. Employees have access to extensive technical and leadership training, career advancement pathways, tuition reimbursement and programs designed to build long-term skills.

The company also emphasizes employee well-being through comprehensive benefits, safety practices and a culture that encourages teamwork and open communication.

“Listening is a key ingredient for healthy organizations, and employee feedback helps us identify what we’re doing well and where we can continue to grow,” said Scott Briggs, Vice President – Human Resources. “The Top Workplaces survey process and designation reinforce the importance of open dialogue and our commitment to creating an environment where our employees feel connected to their work and supported by their leaders.”

The Top Workplaces survey, administered by Energage LLC, in partnership with the Oklahoman, measures key drivers of engaged and healthy organizations, including alignment, innovation, employee voice and leadership support.

OG&E said results of the survey highlight the strength of its workplace culture and the positive impact employees have on the communities the company serves.

“We’re honored to be named a Top Workplace,” said Trauschke. “Our employees’ feedback guides how we continue investing in the people in our organization. Their passion and commitment not only make OG&E a great place to work, they make our company stronger.”
