Family safe, displaced after Friday morning house fire in east Tulsa

TULSA, Okla. — A family is safe after a Friday morning house fire in east Tulsa.

According to firefighters, they responded around 7:15 a.m. to a call of a house on fire near 31st and Garnett. They responded to smoke coming from the garage and the back of the house. Firefighters arrived on scene and immediately put it out.

A mother and her two children were unharmed, but are displaced at the moment.

TFD is currently investigating the cause of the fire and are unsure if the house is a total lose.
