Family seeking aid for son who was critically injured in semi crash on Christmas day

MUSKOGEE, Okla. — A family is in need of help after a semi crashed into them on Christmas day sending their 10-year-old son to the hospital.

According to the GoFundMe set up by the family, a woman named Mykyla Mann and her three children and niece were sitting at a stop light in Muskogee when a semi driver who — according to the GoFundMe — was texting and driving and struck her from behind.

Her 10-year-old son is currently in the ICU at a Tulsa hospital with multiple skull fractures, three brain bleeds and has a small tear in his major artery in his neck and is listed as critical.

He will also need reconstructive surgeries on his face.
