UPDATE (1/13/2026) — The Muskogee County Sheriff’s Office says they will be conducting a search operation for Throne in the area of South 105th East and East 193rd Street South. Other agencies will also be assisting in the search.
The sheriff’s office advises that if you live in the area, search teams may come by or check your property as part of the operation.

MUSKOGEE COUNTY, Okla. — Muskogee County deputies are searching for a man reported missing after being involved in a crash.
Muskogee County Sheriff’s Office said Erik Throne has been missing since he was involved in a motor vehicle accident on Dec. 14.
MCSO said witnesses reported seeing a man who matched Throne’s description walking eastbound from East Highway 64 and South 105th Street East in Webbers Falls on Dec. 14, but he has not been seen or heard from since then.
A report was made to the Muskogee Police Department on Monday and MCSO took over the investigation on Wednesday.
On Thursday, MCSO said they were unsuccessful on Wednesday in their search of the area, but are continuing to investigate.
