47th Annual MLK Day Parade held in Tulsa

TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa is honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with the 47th Annual MLK Day Parade.

Tulsa’s celebration is the 3rd largest MLK Day Parade in the country.

The parade is organized by the Tulsa Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Commemoration Society, a nonprofit that upholds Dr. King’s dream of equality, justice and unity through community and education initiatives.

Tulsa’s MLK Commemoration Society said the parade celebrates participants of all ages, honoring Dr. King’s legacy and demonstrating how we can continue keeping his dream alive.
