Crash and fire shut down Turner Turnpike near Stroud for hours

UPDATE 01/23/2026 5:45pm – All lanes of the Turner Turnpike are open again.


STROUD, Okla. — The westbound lanes of the Turner Turnpike are shut down right now near Stroud due to a crash involving 2 semis that also caught fire.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says that no one was seriously injured in the wreck, and there are no exact times as to when the roadway will open again.
