The heavy snowfall and frigid temperatures didn’t stop a group of people from breaking into an apartment mailroom. The Tulsa Police Department arrested four people who were allegedly involved in stealing mail Sunday at an apartment complex.

At around 1:30 a.m., Tulsa Police officers responded to a larceny in progress at the Villas at Yorktown, located near Skelly and Yorktown Ave. A caller told dispatch they witnessed several individuals breaking into mailboxes and taking packages.

Officers arrived to find three suspects leaving the mailroom, and a fourth suspect was waiting in a car. All four were taken into custody after officers found a pry-bar and mail that didn’t belong to any of them.

The suspects, identified as Adrian Brown, Austin Sheppard, Steven Hastings, and Amber Landa, were arrested and booked into the Tulsa County Jail on complaints of Second-Degree Burglary and Knowingly Concealing Stolen Property.
