River Parks director takes on 110-mile bike challenge to support Turkey Mountain project

TULSA, Okla. — River Parks Executive Director Jeff Edwards has accepted a challenge that most Turkey Mountain cyclists have not — biking 110 miles in a single day.

Edwards has challenged himself to mountain bike 110 miles in one day, but that’s not all. There’s a challenge for the community as well.

River Parks Authority is asking people to pledge a dollar amount per mile. The funds will go toward the future BOK Hub Visitors Center at Turkey Mountain.

“Whether it’s $1, $10, $100, or more per mile, every contribution pushes us closer to our $8 million goal,” said River Parks. “Jeff will suffer, but your pledge is what turns every mile into momentum for the next era of outdoor recreation in Tulsa.”

If you would like to submit a pledge, you can do so here. Make sure to make your pledges out to staff@riverparks.org.
