TULSA, Okla. — A new program is now available at Oasis Fresh Market, a local grocery store in north Tulsa.
The Add Milk program helps stretch SNAP funds by matching any eligible milk purchase dollar for dollar. This allows SNAP users more money to use on other food products.
Shoppers can buy 1% or lactose-free milk with their SNAP benefits without any hassle. There’s no extra step if you’re eligible for SNAP or if you’re already a user, then you are already in the Add Milk program.
The money matched from the program can be used on fruits, vegetables, pantry items, dairy, protein, and any other SNAP eligible item.
“Add Milk helps make healthy choices more accessible without increasing costs,” said Oasis Fresh Market. “This is part of our commitment to food access, dignity, and community health.
Currently, there are no other grocery stores in Oklahoma that offer this program.
