TPD arrest man accused of assaulting woman with pistol

TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa Police have arrested a man who they say assaulted a woman with a pistol.

According to the report, police responded to a home near Oklahoma Street and Lewis Avenue on a first-degree burglary call involving domestic assault around 6:45 a.m. Thursday.

The victim told police she broke up with her boyfriend, identified as Jacob Millage, 30, the night before and was staying at a friend’s house.

Police say Millage then arrived on scene armed with a pistol, forced his way into the home and pointed the gun at the friend and threatened her. He then found the victim and then struck her with the weapon and threatened to kill her.

Millage fled the scene before officers arrived.

Officers responded to secure the area and went to Millage’s apartment near 11th and 73rd East Avenue. While asking him to exit his apartment, officers located him hiding outside the building and took him into custody without incident.

Officers obtained a search warrant for the apartment and recovered multiple firearms including the pistol that the victim identified as the one used in the assault.

Millage was arrested and booked in the Tulsa County Jail for assault with a dangerous weapon After Former Conviction of a Felony (AFCF), pointing a deadly weapon with intent AFCF, first-degree burglary AFCF, possession of a firearm in commission of a felony, threatening a violent act AFCF, and possession of a firearm AFCF.
