Driver accused of causing another driver to roll down an embankment during a road rage case

By April Hill

Police say Jacob Strawn was tailgating a driver on Highway 75, near Olympia Avenue, Saturday when things got out of control.

Officers say when the victim had clearance to move into the other lane, Strawn also changed lanes, once again getting close to the victim’s rear bumper.

Strawn finally started to pass the victim, saluting him with his middle finger, before coming back over into the victim’s lane and colliding with the front fender.

The victim was taken to the hospital for multiple non-life-threatening injuries.

Strawn was arrested for Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, no insurance and expired tag.
