BIXBY, Okla. — The City of Bixby shared an update on the 111th Street Project, announcing an expected opening of March 13.
The bridge has officially been completed and storm drain installation is expected to wrap up by this week.
Crews anticipate to begin asphalt work next week and striping to begin shortly after, allowing for 111th Street to open on March 13.

These added repairs have extended the timeline, but resolving them now prevents bigger problems in the future and makes a more dependable roadway, the City said.
The City thanked residents for being patient throughout construction and said its goal is to reopen the street with improvements that serve the community well.
