DRUMRIGHT, Okla. — There will be no classes for students at Olive Public Schools in Drumright for the rest of the week.
The district says that the restroom facilities have been declining over the past few months, and has gotten to the point where they are no longer safe or reliable and must be addressed.
A plumber will be on campus to fix the plumbing issue and will have to shut the water on and off throughout the building to determine the correct plumbing issue.
Repair work will continue over the next two weeks including their scheduled spring break.
Olive Public Schools also said the district is working on a school bond proposal to address the major infrastructure issue more fully to help provide long-term solutions for their facilities.
