TULSA COUNTY, Okla. — Friday is the last day to register to vote in the upcoming Tulsa County general elections.
On April 7, voters will participate in general elections for various municipalities and boards of education. The elections include:
- City of Bixby Councilmember Ward 4
- Special Bond Propositions for City of Broken Arrow
- Board of Education General for ISD-14 Liberty Public Schools Office 1
- Municipal General Elections for the City of Sapulpa Councilmember Ward 5
- ISD-1 Tulsa Public Schools Office 4 & 7 and Tulsa Technology Center Zone 7
- Special Bond Propositions for ISD-1 Tulsa Public Schools
The Tulsa County Election Board said any application postmarked by midnight on Friday will be entered in time for the election.
You can register by clicking here, or paper applications are available at any Tag Agency, or the Election Board Office.
Voters who are already registered can update their address using the OK Voter Portal here.
The last day to change party affiliation is March 31. Political affiliations cannot be changed again until Sept. 1.
The deadline to request Absentee Ballots is March 23. You can request an Absentee Ballot by clicking here, or by submitting a paper request to the Election Board Office.
Early voting will be held April 2 and 3 at the new Tulsa County Election Board, located at 12000 East Skelly Drive.
Any registered voter in Tulsa County eligible to vote in the upcoming election can vote at early voting as long as they have not returned an Absentee Ballot.
In order to vote, you must be registered in Tulsa County and have proper ID.
Mailed Absentee Ballots must be received by the Tulsa County Election Board by 7 p.m. on Election Day to be counted. Hand delivered Absentee Ballots must be received by 5 p.m. on the day before the election to be counted.
On Election Day, polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. You can find your polling location and a sample ballot by clicking here.
