PITTSBURG COUNTY, Okla. — One woman is deceased following a drowning incident near Lake Eufaula on Sunday.
According to Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 53-year-old Robecca Garrett was trying to help two minors and went underwater. Garrett was pulled out by the people around her.
The incident took place at 9 South Swim Area on Lake Eufaula
Garrett was taken to the hospital by EMS and was later pronounced dead. OHP said Garrett’s next of kin has been notified.
