MUSKOGEE COUNTY, Okla. — A Muskogee man has pled guilty to child sexual abuse and child neglect charges after an 11-year-old girl gave birth.
We reported in August that Dustin Walker was charged with child neglect on an accusation he and Cherie Walker did not provide medical care to a child.
Muskogee Police responded to a call on August 16 that an 11-year-old child had given birth at a residence.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation later received DNA results that Dustin Walker was the father of the child. A charge of child sexual abuse was later added.
This morning, Walker entered a guilty plea to all seven counts. Sentencing is set for June 18.
