STILLWATER, Okla. — The Stillwater Police Department says it has arrested a person for multiple charges including rape and child sexual assault.
Police say the Stillwater Public Schools notified a school resource officer with the police of a possible child sexual assault on Tuesday around 1 p.m.
Detectives responded and coordinated with school staff, the Oklahoma Department of Human Servies and the Saville Center to do an investigation.
Police say after 5 p.m., detectives arrested a suspect on charges of first-degree rape, lewd or indecent proposals or acts to child, rape by instrumentation and child sexual abuse.
