STILWELL, Okla. — Stilwell Utilities is alerting residents that they will see an increase in their rates beginning today.
For electric service users, there will be a 7.5% increase with the average resident usage (800 kWh) seeing an increase from $114.11 to $120.50.
For water service, there will be a 18.5% increase. The average household usage of 6,000 gallons per month will see an increase from $27.50 to $32.45.
For sewer service, there will be a 45% increase with the average usage per month will go up from $48 to $67.70.
Stilwell Utilities also say customers will see a planned annual adjustment effective July 1 of each year. They will be:
- 3% increase for electric
- 3% increase for water
- 10% increase for sewer
The first annual increase will go into effect July 1, 2027.
