Don’t forget the voting spot is different this time

If you’re headed out for early voting this week, make sure you don’t go to the old downtown location.

The doors are closed and nobody is there.

The headquarters just moved to their new location in the old VGT building at 12000 East Skelly Drive.

It’s just off 11th and I-44.

The former Election Board located downtown is no longer occupied or operational.

Early voting will take place on April 2 and April 3, the Thursday and Friday before Election Day.

Doors for early voting will be open from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m.

“There is not early voting at precincts,” said Secretary of TCEB. “Even though early voting for the April election takes place only at our Skelly location, we expect to open additional locations for the June, August, and November elections.”

You may show any ID issued by the United States, the State of Oklahoma, or a federally recognized tribal government if it includes your name, your photograph, and an expiration date that is later than the election in which you are voting. The free Voter Identification Card is also acceptable.

In addition to Early Voting, candidates for Tulsa County offices will also be filing April 1 through April 3.
