Events Park, near 101st and the Creek Turnpike, has been closed since May 2024 for infrastructure improvements needed for the Sunset Amphitheater Broken Arrow.
The 12,500-seat Sunset Amphitheater Broken Arrow is expected to open in the fall of 2026.
“We’ve completed major improvements to the roadways inside and outside of the park, added an Oklahoma Turnpike Authority onramp from inside the park, improved the parking, added a pedestrian bridge, walking paths, and improved the park’s landscaping and lighting all as a part of the agreement with Venu for the Sunset Amphitheater Broken Arrow project,” said City Manager Michael Spurgeon.
Spurgeon says these types of improvements will make the park an even better experience for the thousands of people who visit it for a variety of other events such as Scotfest which returns to Events Park in September.
